There are so many great assets that support homeschooling out there, I wanted to share a few that we’ve used, loved, and partnered with- (affiliate links below)

Hooked on Phonics

This program is FANTASTIC! We used it with my youngest and with it she started kindergarten barely knowing letters, and by the end of her kindergarten year she was reading at the end of a SECOND GRADE level!!! I highly recommend this program and can’t say enough good things about it.

We did the book and app subscription. Each month they mailed us a workbook and reading books, then we also had access to the app which had the same lessons & books digitally.

Simply Piano

We got this app for my daughter last year and she loves it! She went from not knowing anything about playing the piano to being able to play songs we can recognize. The app teaches basic skills, along with popular song choices, and has a great feedback ability to correct and improve the playing.

The same makers of Simply Piano also have Simply Guitar and Simply Sing. You can get a subscription that includes all of them, and they also have family packages at a discounted rate. We have both of these, but we haven’t used them yet so I can’t tell you how amazing they are, but being made by the same company- if they are anything like the Simply Piano they will be awesome!

MEL Science

You’ve probably seen some of the fun science experiment videos on social media from MEL Science. Well now would be a great time to try them out! We haven’t got our box yet, but once we do we’ll be sharing it! Learning is always more fun when it’s hands on and has dramatic results!

The Curiosity Box

This box is another science themed subscription box with experiments and building objects are inspired by YouTube influencer “VSauce” aka Michael Stevens. If your kids have watched his YouTube channel they will love this box! We haven’t got ours yet, but anyone that can make learning fun AND educational is great in my book!
